Introduction of Sintered Stone

Sintered stone is made from 100% natural materials including Fedlspar, Carbon Dioxide, Inogranic Clay minerals and etc which are pressed by extremely high pressure (over 15000tons), and fired (about 1200’C) in a kiln. The whole procedure takes about 72 hours. It has not only taken over the hardness and heat resistance of granite, but also mimic the colorful texture of the marble. It’s 100% eco-friendly material.

Imported Sintered stone has strong uneven surface. It has two layers, if observe from the side. Top layer is a transparent Enamel layer, lower layer is Embryoid body. On the other hand, Domestic Sintered Stone has these two layers combine in one.

The regular sizes for Sintered Stone slabs are in 2400*1200mm 3200*1500mm 3200*1600mm, and 3200*1200mm respectively. Imported Sintered Stone offers thicknesses in 3mm, 6mm, 12mm and 20mm. Domestic Sintered Stone has no much difference on the sizes. Its regular thicknesses are in 6mm, 12mm, 15mm and the minimum thickness is 3mm.

Let’s do a comparison:

Ceramic Tile Slabs ---Clay, Feldspar, Quartz Powder--- 10,000tons of large press - Fired (above 1000’c) in a kiln

Sintered Stone -- 15000ton of large Press --- Fired (above 12000’c ) in a kiln

Sintering Artifical Stone --- Feldar, Quartz, Daibase --- Fire (1000’c) in a kiln

The pattern for Quartz Stone is quite simple, it’s resistant to heat, but if the temperature gets too high, it can damage the stone cause color change and produce toxic gas. On the other hand, Sintered Stone is manufactured with high pressure and extreme heat , making it extremely tough and resistant to heat, cold, scratch and chipping , it won’t change color nor produce toxic gas. Even the temperature gets to 2000’C.
